Aguinaldo National High School
High school extension so more local children can stay in education. The new classrooms will serve pupils from the surrounding barangays.
Our work
Our funding is made where we can see ambition from our partners to grow and deliver for their students. When a classroom is warmer, a roof is sound, or a child reaches a castle, an aquarium or a book they could not otherwise have, learning becomes possible. That is the difference these projects make: more chances to take part, stay curious and grow. Below are some examples of our work.
High school extension so more local children can stay in education. The new classrooms will serve pupils from the surrounding barangays.
Repairs after a disaster, then further grants for teaching materials and buildings for the pupils.
₱558,310 for an eating area for about 1,000 pupils and essential maintenance.
Books, teaching materials and toilet improvements for the pupils.
Funding for coaches so three rural schools could send about 90 children to Hever Castle together.
Funding for coaches so reception classes from these two schools could visit the local aquarium and learn about the natural environment around them.
20% of the funding for two local Girlguiding groups, about 20 pupils, to attend a week-long international camping trip.
Immersive history sessions for Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 across the federation’s eight primary schools, covering the Vikings and the Stone Age. Those eight include Chiddingly, Park Mead, East Hoathly and St Mary’s.
Supporting the school’s parent and friends association, working alongside Chiddingly Primary School, by providing grants to support sports day and funding of sports equipment for the pupils.
A new partnership with Hannan School in Khénifra, Morocco that took the charity’s support onto a third continent, providing books and classroom materials for its pupils.
